Dr. Steve Sperling, DDS, MAGD, FICOI
I’m a Rochester native. I grew up here in town and went away to undergrad at St. Olaf College just up the street in Northfield and then University of Minnesota for dental school. Part of the reason I got into dentistry is I had some role models in my upbringing. I didn’t have any relatives or anything like that who were dentists but I had an excellent dentist myself growing up and then my orthodontist as well who were really encouraging and when I had an interest, they were very good about answering my questions.
A native of Rochester, MN, Dr. Sperling attended St. Olaf College and the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He holds both a Fellowship and a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry and a Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. To keep up with the latest dental trends, Dr. Sperling has taken thousands of hours of continuing education and participated in many in-office training sessions. Dr. Sperling has recently been awarded Fellowship in the American College of Dentists (FACD) and will receive the award at their annual meeting in Atlanta.
He sits on the Minnesota Board of Dentistry, a position appointed by the governor. Dr. Sperling contributed a chapter to the book “Change Agents,” a best seller in several business categories on Amazon.
He enjoys spending free time with his wife, Shelley, and their two sons. Playing tennis, scuba diving, growing apples, and skiing are among his favorite pastimes.
